Hahahaha that word stuck in my head lately. I should blame on my jtk-college fellas who make me curious and try this unique and probably awesome online game i've ever tried in my entire life : Modoo Marble.

What is Modoo Marble

Modoo Marble is an online monopoly game. From the sources i have heard and known, Modoo Marble was built by korean people and korean company, but then the licence was bought by an indonesian company and the company developed the game into indonesian-friendly. Modoo means All-Together (from korean word Modoo), and Marble is monopoly.

Concept of Modoo Marble is like a common monopoly game that we already know. There are square board, divided into 10 squares of its side. Each square represent a country or a company, but there are also special square like Chance Card or Public Card, Jail, Free Parking, and Start. There are 4 players, players throws 2 dices and the number shows up in these dice represent the step that the player character should move. Each player get money when they pass Start square. Each player can buy countries and stuff and stuff and stuff hhhaaa there will be a long paragraph if i explain the way Monopoly works here. The main thing is Modoo Marble is just an online monopoly games, with some advanced feature and rule compare to traditional monopoly board game.

How to Play Modoo Marble

If you want to play this game, you should install the game first. You can download the master in this site : modoo.netmarble.co.id. Please see the requirement first. After installing the master, what you need is internet connection. Since this game is an online game, internet connection is the main needs.

Play Modoo Marble

As i ve said before, Modoo Marble has the same rule and concept as monopoly board game, but Modoo Marble has its own new feature.

Those are Game Room, Landmark, Olympic Hosting, Attacking Other Player, and other traditional monopoly modification feature. Game Room is a room when you and other 3 players play the game. Landmark is the highest building you can build in your country (higher than a hotel), Olympic Hosting is special event when you can double rent cost of country you ve chosen, Attacking Other player using special card so that other player's country is destroyed.

My Comment

For me, Modoo Marble is really worth to try. My first impression is wow this game is cool. I love the design of the board, love the animation, the chat message to other player, and of course the sound which guide all player when playing the game. But yes it is really needed stable internet connection, because if internet connection sucks and unstable, it will ruin the whole game.

Advanced features that Modoo Marble gave are also epic-ly awesome. I love the attacking other player one, so I can ruin the landmark and stuff of my opponent. Monopoly board game always make me bored since it will took forever until other players go bankrupt, but this weekness isnot seen in Modoo Marble. Modoo Marble set 30 minutes game or 24 turns in a round. Eventhough not all player go bankrupt if the time is up, then the game is over. For me, this time limit is challenging because i have to make right decision quickly so i can run of time. Epic cool right.

The last one and most interesting of Modoo Marble is the narator. I dont know i love its narator so much. Narator successfully bring this game more alive with its sound and comment such as "Giliran kamu" or "dua belas", "jadi tuan rumah olimpiade", "waduh kota kamu diserang", and more. This sweet, cute, and bubbly voices make me smile everytime i play this game.

In conclusion, I do personally suggesting you to try and play this game. Whenever you are bored this game will erase your boredom. As my friends said : once you play this, you will play more and more and more, and that's what i do.
